About Winnie Lane & Co. | Maine Wedding Planning & Design

Thoughtful planning for weddings that feel like home.

I believe wedding planning should feel supportive, thoughtful, and—yes—actually enjoyable. Not rushed. Not overwhelming. And definitely not something you have to carry alone. I work with couples who care deeply about meaning over mayhem and want a steady, capable presence guiding them through the process.

My approach is rooted in empathy, clear communication, and a calm, organized plan. I care about the details—timing, flow, logistics—because they shape the experience. But I care even more about how you feel while planning. My role is to advocate for you, simplify decisions, and protect your energy so the entire process (and the day itself) feels like a reflection of who you are—not a production you’re managing.

How I found my way here

Planning has always been my "thing." Long before I was managing wedding timelines and vendor spreadsheets, I was the one organizing detailed family trips and obsessing over Say Yes to the Dress and Four Weddings. My deep fascination with beautiful venues across the country eventually turned into a genuine love for weddings—the details, the settings, and the way every celebration tells a completely different story.

As I got older, that curiosity turned into something deeper: a love for the "uniqueness" of every couple. No two wedding days are ever the same, and I am endlessly inspired by the stories, the choices, and the quiet moments that matter most.

Before launching Winnie Lane & Co., I spent several years as a travel agent, curating customized itineraries for families. I thrived on the research, logistics, and coordination required to make a trip seamless. While I loved the "planning brain" side of travel, what truly lit me up was serving people during the moments they’d remember forever.

Coming home to the wedding industry felt natural. It allowed me to blend my professional coordination background with my heart for service. Today, as a Maine wedding planner, I show up fully invested in every celebration. Helping couples navigate one of the most meaningful days of their lives isn’t something I take lightly—it’s the reason I care so deeply about the details and, more importantly, how the entire experience feels for you along the way.

How I plan weddings

I plan weddings with a heart-led, grounded approach — balancing emotion and logistics so couples feel supported every step of the way. The process is calm, collaborative, and deeply personal, with space for both structure and fun..

You’ll always know what’s happening, what’s next, and where things stand. No chaos. No pressure. Just thoughtful guidance and clear communication from start to finish.

When I’m not planning weddings:
I’m a single mom to two teenagers, a middle school cheer coach, and the cheer commissioner for our local rec program. Life is full — and it keeps me energized, grounded, and ready to show up fully for every couple I serve.
